Mission Statement:
The Breakfast Exchange Club, a Montana Not-for-Profit corporation, chartered by the National Exchange Club, commits its membership resources, in a collective and cohesive fashion, to creating a more sustainable community through: 1. Support of social needs and problems, with a special emphasis on youth. 2. Support of education. 3. Assumption of proactive leadership in our community. 4. Participation in community activities and organizations. 5. Support of patriotism. 6. Development of its membership through education, exchange of ideas, and camaraderie. |

Values:
These values describe how our actions as members of the Breakfast Exchange Club, will be guided as we bear witness to our commitment to the vision and mission of the Breakfast Exchange Club.
Altruistic Intention:
The Breakfast Exchange Club and its members, individually and collectively, are unswervingly and unselfishly concerned for the welfare of others, especially those in our community, who are situated such that their health and wellbeing are vulnerable or compromised.
Stewardship of Financial Resources:
We must expect to generate sufficient financial resources from Club endeavors to adequately support its commitment to the community. Therefore, we shall prudently manage such resources, remembering that these resources came from our community and recognizing that financial resources are only a means to an end and not an end in themselves.
Collaboration:
Collaboration is serving community interests not the interests of the Breakfast Exchange Club, establishing common ground with other service clubs and agencies, building trusting relationships and optimizing resources for the community. Hence, the Breakfast Exchange Club works in a collaborative manner with other community service clubs and agencies to help create a more sustainable community.
Community Focused:
The Breakfast Exchange Club and its members, individually and collectively, are unswervingly and unselfishly concerned for the welfare of others, especially those in our community, who are situated such that their health and wellbeing are vulnerable or compromised.
Proactive Leadership:
The Breakfast Exchange Club recognizes its responsibility to lead its community proactively, which requires independent thought and voice, risk taking, strategic planning, decisive decision-making and proactive identification of community needs and problems.

Duties and Responsibilities of Being a Member:
In order for Breakfast Exchange to meet its requirements of their vision and Mission Statements, it is very critical that the members fulfill their responsibilities and job duties. This means getting involved in various committees and being responsible for your shifts at the Metra. This is how we make our money to give back to the community and you need to be every bit responsible to volunteer for your scheduled events or finding your own replacement.

Highly Committed, Performing and Empowered Members:
Our greatest resource is our membership. We recognize and value the worth, contributions, and potential of every member and give each of them the opportunity to share the responsibility of our mission and the achievement of our vision. Inasmuch as the Club values its members, their families and friends, as well as the wellbeing of all these individuals, the Breakfast Exchange Club will strive sociable and a rewarding experience. It should be noted that the Club recognizes that the Club's members are highly committed and performing because of the support that members receive from their families, employers, and friends. Hence, all references to "membership" include actual members and their families, employers, and friends (as the case may apply).
